At Robert Howard Law Office, we strive to meet your legal needs in an effective, knowledgable and respectful manner.
We engage in a General Practice, with emphasis in several areas.
General Practice may include a variety of problems that fall into no particular category. Where we cannot efficiently deal with a specialty issue, such as Tax Court or Criminal Jury Trial, we have built up a network of specialists in all areas to whom we can refer a client, knowing they will get the best service.
Attorney Rob Howard graduated from Harvard in 1966, and from Boston University with a J.D. in 1969, and was admitted to practice in New Hampshire that year. He has served as the New Hampshire Bar Association Treasurer and/or Secretary from 1993 to date. He has been involved in a number of various Bar Association practice area Sections, and on panels of a number of Continuing Legal Education courses. He is a former Merrimack County Governor-at-Large on the New Hampshire Bar Board of Governors and was the recipient of the NHBA award for Outstanding Professionalism, as well as the first Merrimack County Bar Lawyer of the Year in 1985. He served eight years as a part-time District Court Judge in Hillsborough and Henniker. He presently serves on the Real Estate Section committee on annual updates of the New Hampshire Real Estate Title Standards.
Rob and his wife, Sachiko, have lived in Henniker since 1969, where he has his office. She is a Senior Professor at New England College. They are both active in the community, she as a Master Gardner on the Conservation Commission and Azalea Park Committee, and he as a School Moderator for 30 years, and with terms serving on the Henniker Planning Board and School Board.
